Regular verbs typically form the past tense by adding “-ed” to the base form of the verb. Irregular verbs have different past tense forms. Simple Past Passive Tense is used to describe actions or events that were done to the subject in the past and focus is on the action itself rather than who performed the action. It is formed by using the past tense of the auxiliary verb “to be”(was/were) and the past participle form of the main verb.
