Subordinating Conjunction

 




Learn about Subordinating Conjunction. A Conjunction is a word that connects words, phrases or clauses within a sentence. It helps to establish relationships between the connected elements. Example for Conjunction :  For, And, Nor, But, Or, Yet, So. A Subordinating Conjunction connect a dependent clause to an independent clause within a sentence. The dependent clause depend on the main clause for its complete meaning and cannot stand alone as a sentence. Example for Subordinating Conjunction :  Because, Although, If, After, Unless, Since, While, Whether, Though, Where.
